Lake Shore Farm has enough green grass to play baseball, football, soccer, even drive a few golf balls. In actuality it should be called "Pond Shore Farm" because it abuts Jenness Pond. But Jenness Pond which encompasses 243 acres and is 28 feet at its deepest point is much more of a lake than a pond. In fact, the geological people said just that but the people of Northwood decided they would be happier keeping the name of their lake, Jenness Pond.

Swimming after a brief walk on a path through the woods you come to our private and secluded sandy beach on Jenness Pond. It's a great place for children to play and learn to swim and it's a wonderful spot for sunbathing or sitting with your favorite book.

Fishing Jenness Pond is stocked with smallmouth bass, pickerel, and hornpout all of whom have a good appetite for worms.

Boating Lake Shore Farm provides row boats, canoes and life jackets for our guests enjoyment, of course, at no additional charge.
Tennis just beyond the duck pond are our tennis courts. Just a stone's throw from the Farm, these two acrylic finished courts are available to all our guests (just watch out for the LSF bounce).
Hiking - Many of our guests start their day with a walk on Jenness Pond Road around the lake (5.2 miles) and after meals a walk to the cemetary (.9 mile each way) helps justify eating dessert. But, if you are looking for something through the woods or even a hike that's a little more vertical, you'll find there are plenty of great trails just a short ride away.
Indoor Activities – Ping Pong, pool, bridge, Scrabble, cribbage or just sitting around the fireplace enjoying congenial conversations or a good book from our shelves. Coffee and tea available at all times as well as full bar during evening hours.
Golf - Fore!
Antiquing is a blast from the past on Antique Alley on Rtes. 4 & 202 just 2 miles from Lake Shore Farm. You'll find something old, something new, if you don't buy it you'll be blue.
